Let your voice and actions
Not be as that of a cudgel
But rather a gilded sword
For we are knights needing honor

Our weapon is sharp and bright
A work of art forged in roaring fires
But free of wrathful intentions
Not used for executions
But for ceremonies
Honoring those of virtue

We will meet those with foggy eyes
Misinterpreting our displays
Seeing a sword as a blade of aggression
Not a tool against repression
We needn’t forget
That swords make our kings
First with taps on the shoulder
Before resorting to bloodshed
