Two wayward moterists pass in the night
The pale moonbeams overwhelmed
By their shining headlights

Their speeding forms slow to a stop
Turning their heads expecting emptiness
Only to find eyes glistening back

A rendezvous in the darkness
Two swift souls collide into stillness
Locked in a starry gaze

Their vehicles creak and groan
For their lifelong journey
On damaged parts

The two motorists share the same drive
To search for the one to repair them
But their search continues

As they diverge further
Unable to find common pieces
Their tires begin to run threadbare
And the hot sun will shortly rise
